Trekking inside the Annapurnas requires the ACAP permit (NPR 3,000) and a TIMS card (NPR 2,000), which can be arranged in Pokhara or Kathmandu.

Altitude Safety

Pokhara is at 820m. Treks climb up to 4,130m (Annapurna Base Camp). Altitude rise is gradual, making it highly manageable for beginners.
